Description

 

E&O is looking for an experienced Product Manager to help oversee various components of our marketing websites. Reporting to the Director of Product, this position requires a product visionary that enjoys leading cross-functional teams through a collaborative process of new feature development and site optimization.

 

Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate has a personal passion for Web technologies and a desire to develop community-driven solutions for the discovery and distribution of information.We are looking for someone who is organized, agile, and effective at delivering product initiatives on time and in scope. You should enjoy analyzing user activity in order to understand the desires and behaviors of the marketing community and using this insight to develop highly effective site features.  You must have a proven ability to lead teams through complex initiatives, with successful results.

 

Qualifications

 

• Develop long-term strategic plans for the success of various areas of the E&O product, drawing from Web analytics, community insights, and market research
• Work with the Design, Development, Marketing, and Business Development teams to define marketing requirements and functional specifications for specific project initiatives
• Meticulously think through every aspect of the user experience, putting users' needs and expectations first in the definition of requirements
• Identify, collect, and analyze key site performance and business metrics and use this data to support the prioritization and definition of project initiatives
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and requirements for projects so that they launch on time and in scope
• Gather new ideas for site features by tapping into the E&O community, actively monitoring channels for feedback
• Track, organize, and prioritize product bugs
• Monitor and analyze product development initiatives of key competitors
• Explore product implications of new business and partnership opportunities
